What is Crystal Reiki?

Crystal Reiki may be defined as the use of crystals in combination with the channelling of Reiki (healing energies) to stimulate

the self-healing mechanisms of the mind, body and spirit.

It is not necessary to use crystals in order to give an effective Reiki treatment and, likewise, not all crystal healers are Reiki Practitioners.

Whilst crystal healing is not always taught in Reiki courses and vice-versa, as many people experience positive improvements in

their health when receiving treatments using a combination of Reiki energies and Crystal Healing - treatments and courses in

Crystal Reiki are now being made available at the Temple of Peace Crystal Healing Academy.

 

History of Crystal Reiki

Crystals have been used for healing, amongst other purposes, for thousands of years and by many ancient cultures - including

Atlantis. All Crystal Reiki Masters are attuned with the Life Cycle Energy Symbols, which were the actual symbols used in Atlantean

initiations. Although none of the energy therapies in Atlantis were called 'crystal reiki', the techniques are very similar and

have much the same effect.

Modern Reiki Healing dates from the Re-discovery of Reiki by Mikao Usui in Japan in the 1890s.

During the last few years, courses in 'Crystal Reiki' have become more readily available and are increasingly offered by Colleges and

Reiki Masters who have a special interest in amplifying their reiki energies with the inherent power of quartz crystals.

I would like to let you know that I will be teaching a mindfulness meditation weekend in Sunyata, Sixmilebridge (just outside Limerick, on the Galway side), Co. Clare, on June 5-7, together with June Durkin, who will guide us through a yoga practice designed to increase awareness of the body. On Saturday June 20 and Sunday June 21 I will be teaching a mindfulness non-residential retreat at Croi Nua in Taylor's Hill, Salthill, in Galway. Everyone is welcome, we start at 10.30 on both days, and cost is by donation. However, I would like some kind of a deposit, to help people honour their commitment when they have decided to come for both days or just for one day is fine too. Healing the emotions

This seminar is open for everyone desiring to heal their own emotions and learning how to “come down” from the head to the heart.

The seminar focuses on using Reiki and other healing techniques and their powerful healing energy to improve the relationship with yourself & with others and to enhance your wellbeing.

You will learn exercises supporting the energy of the heart and treatment techniques that help increase trust and closeness, ease communication and better manage the myriad changes life brings to help one achieve inner harmony.

All Attendees will receive an energy activating transmission - to open up their own healing channel and amplify the flow of energy.
