Breathe in the Summer! (Enjoy this two minute summer meditation!)
One of the most beautiful things about summer is the long evenings and more time spent outdoors. And although he weather may be unpredictable you can still take advantage of the energy of this time of year to recharge your body, mind and spirit.
Try this two minute meditation and breathe in the summer!
Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed for two minutes and relax, either sitting or lying down. Close your eyes and allow your attention to focus on your breathing. Don’t try to change it – just become more aware of every breath that you take.
Imagine that with every breath you inhale you are breathing in sunlight. Imagine this sunlight going right through to every cell in your body – replenishing and revitalizing every single part of you. With this sunlight brings health, energy, positivity and wellness – really allow your body to drink it in. With every breath that you exhale, imagine that you are breathing away any stress, negative emotions, tiredness, pain or illness. Simply breathe it away and out of your body.
Keep recycling every breath. Breathing in the sunshine and breathing out any thing you no longer want.
When you feel ready, open your eyes, stretch your body and enjoy the new found energy and positivity which you have created!
