The Bowen Technique therapy is a gentle, relaxing and non-evasive energy vibrational therapy that operates on the muscle, nerve and connective tissue systems. The treatment involves sequences of specific gentle movements interspersed by rest periods, which are performed over a period of up to an hour. The goal is to cause a reset to the body systems and thus re-invigorate the body's self healing processes.
Treatment is usually given through the patients clothing and positive lasting results are usually obtained after 2-3 sessions. Sessions can last between 10 minutes and an hour. Treatment is recommended for all sorts of conditions including musculoskeletal problems, arthritis, migraine and general pain relief in chronic medical conditions.
